The Enterprise Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit organization as defined in Section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code. As such, we are governed by a Board of Directors, comprised of 26 voting members. Directors are elected to serve a 3-year term, unless otherwise elected to fulfill the vacancy of an unexpired term.
A nominating committee comprised of the current Chairman of the Board, Chair-Elect, and three appointed members of the Chamber will review and consider the recommendations and/or nominations, and compile a list of potential board candidates who are voted on during the July board meeting, announced at the August board meeting, installed at the annual meeting in September, and officially take office in October.
Nomination Applications must be submitted on an official form provided by the Chamber. Nominees must be in good standing with their Chamber membership for at least one year and maintain their good standing throughout their term if elected to serve. Nominations will be submitted to the Executive Director of the Chamber and Chairman of the Board for consideration and will be forwarded to the Nominating Committee. All nominations must be submitted by June 27, 2025, to receive consideration.
