ACTIVE SERVICE MEMBER OF THE YEAR

The Enterprise Veterans Tribute Committee will recognize an exceptional service member who sets a positive example and reflects well upon military values such as selfless service, honor and integrity.

Criteria for eligibility:

• Nominee must be currently serving in any branch of the military, including National Guard and Reserves.

• Service member must reflect well upon the values of the U.S. military and promote a sense of patriotism

• Service member who demonstrates community engagement, volunteer service and who has set a good example of helping others will be given special consideration.

• Only activities and services from the previous year will be utilized in determining the recipient.

• The eligible veteran would need to live in Enterprise/Fort Novosel area, and have some connection to Enterprise/Fort Novosel-related military service organizations and community activities.

VETERAN OF THE YEAR

The Enterprise Veterans Tribute Committee will recognize an exceptional veteran who sets a positive example and reflects well upon military values such as selfless service, honor and integrity.

Criteria for eligibility:

• Veteran must have a minimum of two years of active duty service in any branch of the military.

• Veteran must reflect well upon the values of the U.S. military and promote a sense of patriotism.

• Veterans who demonstrates community engagement, volunteer service and who have set a positive example of exceptional character and helping others will be given special consideration.

•  Only activities and service from the previous year will be utilized in determining the recipient.

• The eligible veteran would need to live in Enterprise or in close proximity to the city, participate in an Enterprise-related military service organization and/or other Enterprise-related community organizations and activities.
