It’s time to shine a spotlight and support our local Enterprise Restaurants, Coffee Shops, Bars and Pubs during “Enterprise Eats - Restaurant Week” Aug.  14 – 23, 2020!

The Enterprise Chamber of Commerce, Main Street Enterprise, and the City of Enterprise Tourism programs are teaming up with the State of Alabama Tourism Department

to showcase and support our local restaurants during this 10-day, two-weekend event.

The goal of “Enterprise Eats - Restaurant Week” is to help local restaurants gain exposure through social media promotions and to attract new patrons through experiencing their food. Participants will include member restaurants and pubs from the Chamber and Main Street Enterprise, ranging from fast-food spots to five-star dining establishments. Restaurants will offer special dishes and deals throughout the 10-day, two-weekend event. Those specials will be highlighted on the Chamber, Main Street and Visit Enterprise social media and website accounts, as well as on the “Enterprise Eats - Restaurant Week” event page on Facebook.

“Each day, diners are encouraged to post a picture of their dining experience on the ‘Enterprise Eats - Restaurant Week’ Facebook event page for a chance to enter daily gift card giveaways from the participating restaurants,” Enterprise Main Street Director, Cassidi Kendrick added. “Make sure to tag the restaurant you are at, as well as the Enterprise Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Enterprise, and Visit Enterprise and use the hashtag #enterpriseeats on entries! Each daily contest will go along with the daily theme.”

“What a great project has been put together by our Tourism Department, Main Street program, the Enterprise Chamber of Commerce and the participating businesses! My menus are planned, and I’m really looking forward to breaking bread!” he said. “This is an opportune time for all of us to get out and support these businesses across town and treat our taste buds to all Enterprise has to offer.”

The Mayor agrees with Enterprise Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Erin Grantham, who recognizes the challenges restaurateurs are still facing because of the original economic shutdown in March and April, and the extended period of operation restrictions such as capacity limits.

“Restaurant Week is a great way to spotlight our local favorites and their unique dishes, as well as the curbside, takeout, and delivery options.  Gift cards make great gifts too!” Grantham said.
