BEACH

The Gulf’s beautiful beaches are only 85 miles away.

BICYCLING

A 1.3 mile paved path is available at Henderson Family Park, Highway 167 North.

BOATING

Local county lakes are open to boating but no outboards are allowed. Lake Tholocco (800 acres) at Fort Rucker is open to motorboats. Lake Eufaula is 72 miles away. Other lakes and rivers and the Gulf are within an 85-mile drive.

CAMPING

The nearest camping site to Enterprise is located at Fort Rucker(8 miles). It has 18 campsites with water, electricity, restrooms, showers, and a dump station provided.

FISHING

Less than 25 miles from the city are 3 county lakes stocked with bass, bluegill, catfish and crappie. Fishermen can find saltwater fishing in the gulf only 85 miles away.

GOLF

There are 2 golf courses inside the Enterprise City Limits and 1 course 8 miles to the east of the city at Fort Rucker, Alabama, Home of Army Aviation. All courses are open to play for very reasonable fees.

Tartan Pines (Westside of City)

Newest 18-hole course of some 4617 yards to 6787 yards, depending on which markers are selected for play.
Set in a scenic forest setting.
Golf rates run for $20.00 to $35.00 depending on times and days of play.(rates subject to change)
Seniors on weekdays are $20.00.(rates subject to change)
All rates include green fees, cart and tax for 18 holes.
A lighted practice facility, clubhouse, pool, golf shop and restaurant are also available.

Enterprise Country Club (Northeast side of City)

Private 18-hole course of some 5371 yards to 6514 depending on your selection of play.
The course is set on a scenic low rolling terrain that is very well maintained.
Initial membership cost is a one-time payment of $1,000.00. Golf rates are $82.00 per month. If you have a private golf cart, an additional $20.00 per month is charged.
Private locked storage areas are available for cart and equipment storage at the club for an additional $6.00 per month.
Rental carts are available for $8.00/9holes or $16.00/18 holes.
The club also has a swimming pool and three tennis courts.

Fort Rucker Silver Wings Golf Course (Eight miles east of Enterprise)

Silver Wings Golf Course is a 27 hole, full service golf facility with a 250 yard lighted driving range, and a separate 200-yard practice area. There are also two putting greens and a separate chipping green.
The course length varies from 5706 yards to 6919 yards, depending on which course of 18 holes selected for play, there are three to chose from.
The course is set on a well-maintained flat to rolling terrain with clear sides to wooded areas along the fairways.
Golf rates vary on days played and number of holes played. Daily rates on weekdays range from $7.00 to $18.00, and on weekends from $8.00 to $22.00. Annual monthly fees are also available.
Golf cart rentals run from $5.00/9holes to $10.00/18 holes.
Snack bar is located in the clubhouse, as well as a fully stocked pro shop.
A professional Class A instructor is available for lessons.

HIKING

A 1.3 paved hiking trail is available at Henderson Family Park, Highway 167 North.

HUNTING

Deer, Turkey, Dove, Quail, Rabbit and Squirrel are abundant in Coffee County and across the state. State and local hunting club areas are also available within short driving distances. And Fort Rucker, 8 miles to the east, has 65, 000 acres open for hunting during regular state

Enterprise has 9 city parks totaling over 175 acres, offering everything from playgrounds for young children, to soccer fields, tennis courts, walking trails, bicycling, baseball fields, softball fields, tennis courts, a city recreation center with an outdoor pool and gymnasium.

RV /TRAILER PARK

Ft Rucker RV Park is located at the west side of Lake Tholocco.

The park has 30 concrete pads for trailers and RVs. There are also unpaved spaces. Each pad has water and electrical hookups.
The park has a sewage dump station.
Rates are $15 per day for active and retired military and $18 for others. Reservations are accepted up to 2 months in advance.

Proof of vehicle registration, insurance and photo ID is required for anyone 16 years of age and older to enter Ft Rucker.
