Computers are available as well as videos and kits with cassettes, typewriters, and audio-visual equipment.
Anyone can check out books after they get a library card.
A law library is also available.
Books By Mail:  For residents living outside the city limits.  A list of books available is made available and 4 books at a time can be checked. They will be mailed and a stamped envelope will be provided to return books.
Children Story Hour:  Once a week and also a summer program is available.

Collection of 45,076 titles, 349 serial subscriptions.
All patrons must obtain a library card to borrow books.
ESJC students may register and receive a card free of charge, which is valid for the duration of enrollment.  Community patrons, 19 ears of age and older, may borrow books upon registering and paying an annual $5.00 registration fee.
All non-cardholders are welcome to use the resources within the building.
Books and government publications are loaned for four weeks. Reserve materials are circulated according to instructors’ recommendations. 
Materials in the periodical, reference, and genealogy collections are not loaned for out-of-building use.
There is no limit on the quantity of materials loaned at one time.
A fine of ten (10) cents per day is assessed on over-due books and a fine of twenty-five (25) cents per day is assessed on over due Reserve materials.  Patrons must pay for any lost materials as specified in the LRC Policy Manual.  Both fines and fees must be cleared by the end of the semester in which the violation occurs.
